Every bit as bleak and morose as "Dissected Humanity,? "Decaying in Obscurity? demonstrates definitive evolution for the band. An expanded palette of texture, tempo, and melody characterizes this album and the incorporation of well-placed and subtle keyboards adds to the macabre atmosphere.
