DECREPIT was unearthed in November of 1992. In March of 1993 we recorded the "Hymns of Grief and Pain" demo that sold over 1300 copies. In May of 1994 we recorded "The Wake" 7" EP released on P.S. (Psycho Slaughter) Records. In 1995 Duaniac decided to create Dismal Records and released the "Creation of Sin" C.D... a collaboration of the demo and 7". Then in October of 1997 we entered the Mars compound with producer Bill Korecky to record the Acrimonium LP also released on Dismal Records. After 6 years together the band simply dissolved and our members continued on with other projects. Some notable ex-members are: Tom Rojack (RIP)-guitar (Civil Disobedience, Funeral Pyre, Blood of Christ (OH) and Gino Lambert-guitar, one of the original members of Decrepit (& Funeral Pyre) currently not in the reformed lineup. Today in 2007 the line up is as follows: Rob Molzan-vocals (From the Depths, Mutilation, Dead of Night). Chris Dora -drums (Mutilation, Ringworm, Incantation, Spawn of Satan, a crapload more + currently w/ Soulless). Duane "Duaniac" Morris -bass/guitar/backing live vocals (Incantation, Nun Slaughter, Mutilation, Funeral Pyre, Dead of Night currently Manticore + Embalmer). Matt Sorg-guitar (From the Depths, Blood of Christ (OH), Dead of Night, currently Ringworm). Rob Lesniak - bass/backing live vocals (Embalmer, Dislimb, Nun Slaughter, Necrotic Disgorgement).
